Ok, here goes...After about two minutes of running I start to feel a resistance like the brakes are on and it will hardly move, and I can feel excessive heat coming from the engine area along with smell of some overheating.Just bought a 3010 trans mule that was overheating, just my luck after just fixing a ranger doing same thing. This mule would over heat when only going slow after about 30 minutes. The fan would never come on. First I bleed the air out of radiator and got it hot and set on incline. This didn't make fan work.However much of the industrial equipment I've used over the years did the reverse, and the later MULES like yours used an industrial engine. 1000 used a Kawasaki 454 parallel twin engine complete with dual carbs adapted to the transmission case of the MULE sharing the same sump. works fine for us, but was trashed when I got it.
